We attend the Audrain Auto Museum Cars and Coffee opening show at Second Beach in Newport, RI. It was a great turnout, with many cool and unique cars. Here are our favorites from the event.
One completely stock, and another slightly less stock.
An elegant car of its time. However, I can't say I find it that attractive.
Punch buggy!
A mullet machine.
Truly a beautiful car, and one of my picks for best in show. Notably, this is a fuel injected car!
Volkswagen Golf Mk. I and a Porsche 924. Too rad.
I've come around to the 1971 -72 GTOs. Their front fascia is a little awkward looking, but there's an appeal to it. I'm trying to figure out what that is.
What a stunner. Again, another pick for best in show. Can you blame me?
Another beautiful Italian sports car.
The OG JDM classic. You can't say you like JDM cars without saying you like the 240Z.
Hoss machine.
Austin Healey Sprite Mk. III, MGB Roadster, and an MGB GT.
This belongs to a friend of ONEC! We're glad to see this lovely Buick at Cars and Coffee.
I've always liked the TR-8 for its distinct wedge look. It's so strange, but so late '70s.
Oh, the Europa. One of my favorite British sports cars ever. These, in my opinion, are some of the most attractive sports cars produced during the 1960s and early 70s.
A JDM RHD import. This is so cool.
Daytona Purple!
That car in the back looks a little too close for comfort...
Truck perfection.
Now this was probably my pick for best car. It's a Panda! These are such funky and cute little cars, I've always loved their look. Seeing this made me want to get my hands on one.
