In November of 2025, the La Salle Academy community - and the world at large - lost a beloved friend and caring mentor with the passing of world languages teacher Roberto DiMascio. Roberto "Signor" DiMascio, as he was affectionately known by his students, taught Italian and Spanish classes at La Salle Academy for fourteen years. To honor the man who brought us and our passion for cars together, we have decided to hold a car show in his memory. All proceeds from this event will go directly to La Salle Academy students in the form of a newly-established scholarship.
The show will be taking place at La Salle Academy on Saturday, July 18tfrom 10AM to 2PM. Check-in for exhibitors begins at 8AM and remains open for the duration of the show. La Salle Academy is located at 612 Academy Avenue Providence, Rhode Island. Directions can be found here or by clicking the map below.
Admission is $15 per vehicle for exhibitors and free for spectators. This show is open to all makes and models, with no age or platform restrictions. We kindly ask that all exhibitors refrain from burnouts and other similar maneuvers during the show. For detailed parking information, please see the Parking section below. We're pleased to feature DJ "Cruisin'" Bruce Palmer, who will be providing the soundtrack to and emceeing this show. More information on Bruce and his other upcoming shows can be found on his website, cruisinbruce.com. Additionally, we're also offering a variety of raffle items, which can be found in the Raffle Info section below.
All exhibitors must register for the show by filling out this form, or by emailing us at oldnewenglandcars@gmail.com. When sending us an email, please provide us with your name and the make, model, and year of your car.
Parking for the show is split into two separate groups for exhibitors and spectators. Exhibitors will use the Smith Street lot, accessible from the Smith Street entrance, by the MacLaughlin Athletic Center. Spectators will use the Academy Ave lot, accessible from the Academy Ave entrance. There will be volunteers placed at either entrance and inside the lots who will direct you to your designated spots. Please see the attached maps below for further info.
Note: There will be some construction occuring on the baseball field during this time, so spectators should be mindful of construction vehicles who will be sharing the spectator entrance. The construction will not affect the exhibitor parking or use the exhibitor entrance.
